Something about my health care just wondering?

well my insurance company is blue cross blue shield. great insurance company btw. but one thing i loved was that i could choose my doctors. set up appointments with no stress. then they give me treatment. took some blood work. then he said we need to schedule you for an ultra sound within one week. they found out i had over sized gall stone in my bile ducts. then i scheduled my doctor for surgery about 2 weeks later...within just a few weeks i had a surgery done. insurance paid for all of it. and my bill was around 35,000 dollars. due to complications with the surgery. i was happy after wards. everything worked out great.!! sooo i was wondering would you consider this poor treatment? because in england it can take up to 14 weeks before they'd schedule you for a few blood tests or an ultra sound. and probably 4 months until you could have your surgery. and you can't even choose your doctor. so which one would you rather have honestly. ??? please tell me. the only thing that pissed me off actually i had to pay for over priced chicken broth. that was my only expense.
