I was picked to get gunged. Should I go through with it?

I was picked by my colleages to get gunged (like nickolodeon slime, its supposed to be flour water and food coloring) for charity. Im not sure if i should go through with it though. I didnt volunteer for it and wont it ruin my clothes? And will it ruin my hair or be really hard to get out? I mean i want to help raise money for charity but i dont want to look like a fool.
