My dog is a Choc. Lab/Mastiff mix with dark brown short fur - I vac every afternoon, and clean the crown molding of my floors w/the dust buster. 30 wks pregnant today & switching OB/GYN doctors?

I've had such a horrible pregnancy...throwing up every single day since January, lots of cramping, some bleeding, fainting from vomiting so much... My mom and I decided to switch doctors so I can deliver at the big hospital in my area that has a Level 3 Neonatal Unit just in case I go into preterm labor. The bigger hospital has more doctors and is more well known then the smaller hospital I was originally going to deliver in. Has anybody else switched doctors this late? I went to my previous doctor's office and signed the authorization of release of my medical records and have an appointment at the new doctors office now.

Early-onset Alzheimer's or something else? (20 year old)?

I'm a 20 year old with severe anxiety and depression. I don't do drugs, I always get enough sleep everyday and eating properly. Alzheimer's doesn't run in our family in both my mother's and father's side. I even double checked it with the help of my grandma. All of my granparents didn't develop any kind of dementia and has a very long lifespan. They can live past 85. In the past 2 weeks, I keep forgetting things in seconds. It happens more frequent now. I'm also losing interest in life recently. This morning when I woke up, my brain isn't thinking. It's like my brain is frozen. I don't know what to next. I've lost my initiative which is totally abnormal. I was so scared my anxiety went out of control. It lasted for about 10 minutes. Right now mind my has stabilized somehow. I really feel like my memory is deteriorating and it come and goes. Does this sound like Early-onset Alzheimer's? Anxiety? or something more serious? or am I just paranoid? Should I go to the ER now? However, the fraternity chapter I pledged at my school Alpha Beta Delta is not the same fraternity my friends refounded at their school. I had considered the Alpha Beta Iota chapter at my school but I didn't find the guys in it to be that welcoming or as genuine as the guys in the Alpha Beta Delta fraternity at my school. I'd like to tell my friends that I pledged a fraternity, but not sure what their reaction will be that it isn't the one they are part of. Should I just tell them now? well my insurance company is blue cross blue shield. great insurance company btw. but one thing i loved was that i could choose my doctors. set up appointments with no stress. then they give me treatment. took some blood work. then he said we need to schedule you for an ultra sound within one week. they found out i had over sized gall stone in my bile ducts. then i scheduled my doctor for surgery about 2 weeks later...within just a few weeks i had a surgery done. insurance paid for all of it. and my bill was around 35,000 dollars. due to complications with the surgery. i was happy after wards. everything worked out great.!! sooo i was wondering would you consider this poor treatment? because in england it can take up to 14 weeks before they'd schedule you for a few blood tests or an ultra sound. and probably 4 months until you could have your surgery. and you can't even choose your doctor. so which one would you rather have honestly. ??? please tell me. the only thing that pissed me off actually i had to pay for over priced chicken broth. that was my only expense.

Why do people think their cats are safe outside?

Great question! I have 3 indoor cats and I would NEVER put them in harm's way by letting them roam outside! My cats will die of old age, not being hit by a car or catching a disease or getting stolen and tortured and so on. I love my babies too much. I couldn't bear the thought of not knowing what happened to them. Plus, my cats don't want to go out, they are very happy inside with me!

This question pertains to the current 2010 FIFA World Cup performances of United legends Wayne Rooney and, in particular, Cristiano Ronaldo. For the past 4 years, people have wrongly labeled (IMO) Man Utd as a one man team. This is due to the outstanding performances of, the then, CR7 and, most recently, Rooney. It has been said a lot in the media by so-called football experts and rival fans that these players have "carried the team." I wish to refute this perception. Football (Soccer) is a team sport. This isn't golf or tennis. Your own performances depend on the performances of your teammates. To say that one man can "carry" a team of eleven men is absurd and disrespectful to the other members of the team. Also, I do not deny that high industry and effort from one player can influence and encourage the rest of the team to perform better. But I feel that people don't really understand the game when they say such things. People should realize that these players owe their success to the system and tactics used by SAF. In terms of CR9, Sir Alex surrounded him with great players that would supply him the ball and in that way exploiting his great goal-scoring ability. Also consider the fact that Cristiano is not big on defending so to say that he carried our team is not only narrow-minded but also disrespectful and condescending to the likes of Scholes, Giggs, Fletcher, Evra, Rio, Vidic, Nani, etc. Sir Alex put Rooney in this role after Ronaldo was sold and its also the reason why the 09/10 season became Rooney's highest scoring. Before that, everybody was saying how Wayne Rooney wasn't a prolific striker but have since changed their tune. Now, look at both's poor 2010 WC performances (CR is currently still in so he can improve). It's because the tactics and squads aren't suited to their needs like they are at United and people like to give them too much credit without realizing this. One of the reasons why Lionel Messi is so great is that, even though he is an outstanding player, he knows that he wouldn't be the world's best player without the support from players like Xavi and Iniesta. Rooney also acknowledges the support however CR9 does not. He is arrogant (and might I say effeminate lol) and self-centered and he let all the media attention go to his head. I honestly believe that he thinks Man U's success of past 4 years was all because of him. Just search his quotes of when he left to Madrid. Well, until he starts respecting his teammates (Gonzalo Higuain in particular) he will never score 42 goals in another season and, more importantly, he will never achieve his dying wish of being better than Lionel Messi. Have the current events in the news changed your personal life?

Current events have not changed my personal life...however they have reinforced my existing prejudices. In particular the Diana inquest cover up by Lord Stevens sees much of the evidence in the initial inquest being buried...hence the need for another inquest. His actions/rhetoric over the McCann case have made me more cynical about the UK government in particular their accountability and transparency and their need to get involved in criminal investigations where political interests appear to outweigh the need for justice.

You probably need to clean the band on a timely bases. The rubber can get gunky with your old sweat and skin cells. take a alcohol wipe and rub it down once a week or so and see if that helps. if it doesn't, then you might have to switch types of bands. i can't wear metal ones and my dad had to wear the type that keeps the watch body off the skin..he would stop a watch every time it came into contact with his arm! Use the lotion till the rash disappears, clean the watch band and then see what happens. If you have any skin cleaning products like Sea Breeze, that will work.

What is going on with my ear?

I wasn't able to sleep last night because I was having really bad pain in my ear and teeth. Nothing is helping I've tried every home remedy I could, and I've taken pain reliever. When I finally fell asleep I didn't sleep well because the pain got more intense throughout the night, when I woke up this morning there was a huge chunk of ear wax out of the ear that has been hurting. The pain has gone a way a little bit since then but still bad enough. Is this an ear infection? Why is it affecting my teeth? I hear perfectly fine out of my ears. I also had tubes put in my ears about 18 years ago and they fell out maybe 3 to 5 years ago. Is it possible I need tubes again?

My 2 month old white-topped, black polish chicken began sneezing yesterday evening. She was running around eating and playing and looked fine, but we isolated her just in case. (Yesterday, we swept out the barn and changed out the hay for fresh hay, so I know we had some dust kicked up - we do this weekly.) This morning, her nose was slightly runny, but she was still eating, drinking and . Her stool looked normal in color and consistency, and I saw no drainage from her eyes. She appears to be ok except for sneezing and runny nose. She is moving around with good balance, but it's hard to evaluate her activity since we have her in a smaller place while confined. We added several new chicks to our barn about1 month ago. Is there anything I can do for this chick at home and what are the warning signs I should look for that indicates something more serious? Are mastiffs typically pretty timid despite their size?

Ok I know this question is pretty subjective but I'm curious to learn about the experiences of other english mastiffs owners. I have had my girl since she was 5mths. From the very beginning I have taken her to the dog park twice nearly everyday and to large city events, etc. Immediately the tail goes between the legs and she starts trembling. She's now 15 months and I have to wonder if this is ever going to get any better. I have a 10 y/o shih tzu as well who's a typical shih tzu: chill as can be, and I had hoped that the shih tzu's chill demeanor would be soothing to the mastiff and rub off - not. Just to add, a good friend of mine also has two dogs and one is an english mastiff. Her lab is amazing and loves to run and play at the park but her mastiff will not leave her side, never play with other dogs at the park and once urinated on the kitchen floor when she invited a new friend over. HUGE difference between integrated HD graphic display an aftermarket card. The integrated or CPU integrated GPU can't compete with an aftermarket card in most cases. If that is the 1GB model that I see for $58 then I would go for the extra card. It won't play recently released games but will handle most games that are over 2 years old. This def. isn't a gamers card. In your case it does seem to fit the bill because of your casual status and lower end taste. Don't mean that in a bad way. My computer liquid cooling system making a rattling crackling noise how do i fix it?

22 month old afraid of water?

Your dog's instincts of protection are in full force. First, I would definitely call the police, file a report and sue the neighbors who obviously do NOT need to be responsible for anything. It will take a little while and a lot of reuring from you. There is no need to put this dog down. For what reason? All she needs is some guidance. She is losing hair because of stress, she is not sure now when you go out if that is gonna happen again. When you take her out, make sure that you are confident and not scared and looking around. What you are feeling goes down that lead and into the dog. Reure her as much as possible and have a friend bring a dog over that is not aggressive AT ALL, acutally not submissive either or your dog will take that energy and get confused. Bring a dog that she has played with a lot and is not scared of. You are gonna have to do a lot of one one one to reure her and get her back into society, so to speak, and not be scared. You are her protection and she is yours. She isn't sure she can protect you now. It's time for you to let her know that you will protect her no matter what happens. Love, love and more love and reurance that she is a good dog and the aggression problems with other dogs will lessen. They may never go away completely, but you can do your part by reuring her everyday that she will always have you and you will take care of her. Why would someone want you to put this dog down? That is just insane. It wasn't your dog attacking, it was the others. Your dog is just having a hard time dealing with a very vicious attack and will need time to trust other animals again. I have not known any media players to save files as mp3's unless they were mp3's. There may be upgraded media players that's capable of this type of conversion; however, I would suggest a program that converts your files to mp3's first and, then send them to your media player as mp3's. I have also heard that a media player converts a file to mp3's then back to the original file format as part of the process of using the media player, but it never converts it. (to my knowledge).

Coming off of metoprolol?

About the middle of April, I had been on 25mg twice a day of metoprolol for about 3 weeks for hypertension. I felt fine until I started getting blood pressure spikes of up to 170/95. I was then put on 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide in conjunction with the metoprolol. That brought my blood pressure too low. A month ago I got stepped down off the metoprolol and have been completely off since June 29. Since being off I have had heart rates at rest of high 80's to 100 bpm. I feel weakness in my chest, I tire easily, and feel the need to take deep breaths more often and yawn alot. Are my symptoms going to ease up? This really brings my anxiety level up, and I am actually on lorazepam for that too. Anyone been through this that can tell me what is going on?

you ruined her!!!! just kidding. but seriously, a lot of breeds of dog are very sensitive (moreso than others) and when you yell, it's pretty traumatic. when you yell at them, keep in mind they aren't humans and don't understand what is being said other than the fact that YOU are saying it, to them! scary! just give it some time and never, EVER, yell at her again for anything. it's a puppy. they have accidents.

Let's say,for instance,a PITBULL jumped a 5 foot fence,grabbed your dog,by the neck,and dragged him 20 yards and wouldn't let go. Well,this all happened to me today,ON CHRISTMAS. I was outside,letting my rat terrier use the restroom,when all of a sudden,the neighbors pitbull jumped their fence and attacked my dog. We had to get the law involved and took our dog to the emergency vet clinic. After checking out dog out,it was in best interest that we put him to sleep because he had a large gash on his neck and lost alot of blood,a broken rib,punctured lung,and an enlarged heart. Poor thing was defenseless. The kicker is,this isn't our first rodeo with their dog jumping the fence. He has done this about 7 times now,but luckily our dogs were in their cages,but this time,one wasnt,and he paid the price. I wanted the dog taken away,but the K-9 deputy was taking up for the pitbull,saying it wasn't the dog's fault. The neighbors said that their dog never bit anyone and wasnt aggressive. I told them to go take a look inside the burial box and tell me that an aggressive dog didnt do that to my dog. The deputy also said that any dog can turn on you,even a chihuahua. I told him,with all do respect,let a chihuahua bite you on the leg,and let a pit bull bite you in the same spot,and SEE the difference.I told him that if a chihuahua jumped the fence and attacked my dog,it would still be alive right now. He didnt have to much to say after that. He did write the owner a citation,and the owner is responsible for the dogs medical bills,but is there anything else I can do. We live in Louisiana. Pitbulls are not banned here,but most home owner insurances wont cover you with that breed of dog.Also,there is no leash law in our city. If they dont get rid of the dog,what can I do?

I am looking for a good juicer... I was reading that the best juicers have a 2 step processs (grind then press). I've heard that the very best juicer is called a Norwalk which cost over 2000.00. I think that this is a very narrow viewpoint. Being devoted to ones country does not have to be a negative thing. Now granted zeal ousts have a tendency to make a country look bad and yes, we have plenty of these in the US too. It's not a country willing to do things it's people. Maybe a corny cliche or bad metaphor but as the old saying goes guns don't kill people; people do. I think the message gets lost in anti-nationalism about governments, flags, and symbols VS focusing on discussing the real issue which is the nature of humankind. It's great capacity to do both good and evil regardless of nationality, creed, or gender. As they say it only takes one bad apple to make the whole look bad and from there the profiling begins.

Wow, that's some group of "inner circle" friends you got there, they sound very rude and very cheap. I never heard of ANY group of people, male or female, who would agree to pay for a birthday meal for ostensibly a close friend, then bail on you at the restaurant and not bring any gifts. They sound beyond dreadful and they are, of course, not going to honor their promise so you two are stuck. Best advice for you is to find new friends, ones who are at least fundamentally decent human beings, an attribute sorely lacking in your current "inner circle."

(pluerisy is an infection of in the space between your lung and chest wall.when it gets infected it dries out and causes pain when breathing), it s not life threating, but needs treating)

How to get my mom to reconsider getting rid of my dog?

I have three dogs. My sister got a puppy a few months ago(she's over 18) and my mom said she WOULD NOT pay for anything the puppy needs because its not her responsibility(which I understand) My sister unexpectedly moved to another state with her boyfriend and left the puppy here.(I know, that's very dumb of her) .. I've been paying for everything the puppy needs and my sister sends me money for stuff also. The only thing my mom needs to do is take me to go get dog food(which we already have to do for my two older dogs anyways) My mom wants to get rid of Izzy(the puppy) and she is not giving me any reason at all, which I think is unfair. Being bullied in school, what should I do?

Okay, so I get bullied in school every day, not only by short kids (Much younger than me) But others my age, And I'm pretty sure Next year I'll be very bullied. Everyday I go outside at the time, and get Bullied there, at 12:00. I then get made fun of because of my long hair, even by the girl I have a crush on ( :( )! I go outside, I try to stay away from them as much as possible, but after awhile they come up to me, and make fun of me if I run. I run most of the time, but cannot run forever. I get pushed around very harshly (Into the walls/Poles/Etc.) and have a bloody nose almost EVERY day. My arms are very bruised now, also. The teachers do not tend to do anything whatsoever, Even whenever I am RIGHT Beside them. They do nothing about my bloody nose or anything. But I am also to shy to tell the teachers, Even though I do have a fractured jaw from one of them, and all they did to the person was Expel them. I bet they're like this right now: "Woot, That was worth punching that kid in the jaw, now I get to play video games EVERY DAY!!!!". The "Gang" Of bullies always walk around me, giving me no time to think to my self (I talk out loud whenever I speak)(I also Need my own space sometimes, I feel very uncomfortable if not).
