They are causing you to maybe feel threatened. The demons mean that you need to take it easy. Satan represents guilt, fear, and limitations. When you defeated him, it means you'll be victorious, though it may not be easy nor a one-time thing, as when he tried to come back. The looming water tower represents victory.
