Have the current events in the news changed your personal life?

Current events have not changed my personal life...however they have reinforced my existing prejudices. In particular the Diana inquest cover up by Lord Stevens sees much of the evidence in the initial inquest being buried...hence the need for another inquest. His actions/rhetoric over the McCann case have made me more cynical about the UK government in particular their accountability and transparency and their need to get involved in criminal investigations where political interests appear to outweigh the need for justice.
