MEN: why is this friend talking me out the marriage thing?

This friend of mine got married 4 years ago, but he's always complaining that his marriage is a disaster like every single marriage (according to him). I had told him that I was going to get married and he said: "you're crazy, there are millions of married men trying to get out of that, and you intend to get in". Also, he adviced me that I could be unfaithful because a man WANTS and NEEDS to have extra marital affair because no one is going to receive the same treat that they received before marriage, like, kisses, , mage, and uplifting comments. Should I believe that marriage is in fact a disgusting institution made up by men?
