I want to babysit with one od my friends but my mom isnt agreeing i need some stuff to back me up.?

some people want me and my friend to babysit but when i asked my mom she said no and that it was a waste of my time and its not worth the the time cause im not getting fully paid. and stuff but if i have a few good reasons why i think she would reconsider.
